Say What: Marketing Campaign

I wanted the overall design to have a retro 1950s inspired look. I incorporated this look through the soft color palette, unique font choices and a series of playful housewife photos and illustrations.

THE BRAND The Say What Campaign is about making people realize the offensive words they may be using. Too often words or phrases can become a part of our everyday language that we may not even realize what we are really saying. This campaign was created to bring awareness to the seriousness of some of our words.

THE DESIGN I decided to use 1950’s housewife inspired photography, graphics and illustrations. This was not only eye-catching for the viewer but gave interesting contrast to the seriousness of this campaign. Say What is targeted towards a teenage audience so it was important to find ways to get their attention. To do that bus stops, websites and mobile apps were all designed as part of the campaign
